 Botswana Snakes

The very thought of a poisonous snake bite strikes fear in every person's
heart. Mambas, cobras and adders are counted throughout the world as among the most dangerous of animals. However, almost all of the 60 snake species found in
Botswana are not venomous, are entirely harmless to humans and are greatly
helpful in controlling amphibian and rodent populations.
