SAPOA stands for Southern African Postal Operators
Association and includes Angola, Botswana, Lesotho,
Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland,
Zambia and Zimbabwe. In July 2003, the Association setup
a Philately Taskforce with the mandate to promote the
regions identity, symbols and development goals, and to
reflect the cultures within Southern African Development
Community Countries.
