TSWANA CATTLE

|
The indigenous Tswana breed cattle seems to be
diminishing since the introduction of exotic breeds such
as Brahman, Simentaler, Charoloais and others. This has
been due to livestock development which encouraged
farmers to cross breed their Tswana stock for better
returns in beef production as Botswana is a major beef
exporter.
