Agency Services

BotswanaPost provides services on behalf of third parties like Government and private companies. These services are referred to as agency services, and are provided throughout the entire postal network or in some instances when requested are limited to a few selected post offices. BotswanaPost has the most expansive network which is conveniently located in most parts of Botswana, thus offering a secure business environment to provide services on behalf of businesses and Government to communities. BotswanaPost has developed the following sections for agency services;

Distribution & Collections
BotswanaPost has distributed material for companies and collections of forms on behalf of third parties. We distribute the Daily News, Mmegi, Passports on behalf of Department of Immigration. We collect application forms for CEDA, Botswana Life, Mosele Legal Services which we also collect on their behalf.

Payments
BotswanaPost pays wages and salaries on behalf of third parties. This service is provided on behalf of Construction companies, Councils, Security Companies etc. We also make payment of Old Age Pension, World War II veterans and registered destitute on behalf of the Department of Social Services in the Ministry of Local Government;

Collections of Payments
Using our expansive network, BotswanaPost has collected premiums, council rates and service levies on behalf of third parties. We collect premiums for Botswana Life, Mosele Legal Services and Letshego.
